| David Feygin, PhD
David Feygin is the World-Wide Director of Strategic Innovation for the Becton Dickinson (BD) - Medical Surgical Systems. Dr. Feygin developed and currently leads the Strategic Innovation group. He is responsible for identifying, developing and validating individual opportunities and overall growth strategies. Dr. Feygin is responsible for the Medical Surgical Systems Innovation Strategy Management System, has driven multiple, global, strategy development efforts and drives business development activities that enable growth through innovation. The Strategic Innovation Group is responsible for innovation initiatives, strategic marketing, opportunity identification and assessment, fundamental business analytics and advanced customer research from technical, market, clinical and policy perspectives.
Dr. Feygin received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley for his work in virtual environments and medical simulation. He spent the next four years at medical simulator startups developing and commercializing state-of-the-art simulators. As Director of Development, Dr. Feygin led the development, commercialization and launch of the Virtual I.V. TM product line until the business unit's acquisition by Immersion Medical. Dr. Feygin joined BD in June of '08, after completing his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
