The Center for Patient Safety Research and Practice
Developing knowledge and technology to safeguard patients

| Funding a Safer Tomorrow

Tejal Gandhi, MD

Even under the best conditions—with the most advanced research and technology—some injuries in healthcare are inevitable. But many are not.

The Center's aim is to develop and test new ways to make healthcare safer. We have shown that with proven systems most unnecessary deaths and injuries can be prevented.

What we need now are the resources to make that a reality.
To pursue our mission and accomplish our goals for the future,
it is imperative that the Center for Patient Safety Research and Practice becomes a sustainable entity.

To sustain the pace of medical progress, we must invest in patient safety. Those who support our efforts in patient safety belong to a special category of donors—leaders who understand that a commitment to patient safety is critical to providing the best possible healthcare. Your generous gift is an investment in excellence, one that is both far-reaching and long-lasting.
To find out how you or your corporation can help fund the future of patient safety with your tax deductible donation, please contact Susan Mihaildis, the Center's Development Officer for more information.
